Travel can be magical in the grand sense of the word: in castles and folklore, but also the quiet kind too. A hidden bookstore. A train ride at sunset. A city that feels strangely familiar. The moment a place changes something in you, even in a small way.
Some people travel for adventure. Some for rest. Some for history, wonder, food, stories, or escape. There’s no right way to see the world—only the way that feels most meaningful to you.

1. What does a travel advisor actually do?
Aren't travel agents outdated? Can you book everything yourself these days? Absolutely. Should you? Not at all. Working with a travel industry insider means we're up to date on everything so you don't have to be. Our job is to make your vacation truly feel like one, beginning with the planning itself.
2. Why book with me instead of doing it myself?
Here's an industry secret they don't want us sharing: you're already paying for an agent's commission, even if you book yourself. The fee for our services is built into resort, cruise, hotel, and theme park pricing. Book on your own, and you're paying for the service without reaping the benefits.
3. What does it cost?
My services are complimentary for routine bookings. You're paying the travel advisor commission either way—the only difference is whether it goes to an online company or to your advisor. If you want a detailed, daily itinerary spanning multiple destinations, methods of transport, and tours, I charge a $200 planning fee.
4. What kinds of trips do you plan?
From feeling-first getaways built around a story or a place that means something to you, to family trips, cruises, and classic bucket-list destinations—if it's a trip worth taking with intention, I'll plan it.
5. How far in advance should I book?
The further ahead you can plan, the better. You'll have stronger options for rooms, views, and timing, and generally better pricing.
6. Do you plan international and domestic?
Yes, both. I've personally traveled to 42 states and 20 countries — mostly in Europe, but also the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and West Africa — and that firsthand experience shapes how I research every trip, even the ones I plan to places I haven't been myself. Being a genuine, avid traveler makes me a better agent: I know what questions to ask, what guides miss, and what actually matters once you're standing there. I can plan a trip anywhere in the world.
7. Do you handle flights, hotels, or full itineraries?
I can build a full package: flights, hotels, tours—or help finish planning if you've already got flights booked.
8. Payment and deposit terms
This depends on which companies you book with. In most cases, a deposit is required, ranging from one night's stay to 10% of the trip total, with the option to pay the remainder over time.
9. Cancellation policy
Cancellation policies vary depending on the vendor your trip is booked with. I strongly advise every client to purchase travel insurance—and I can help you find the right coverage. If you choose not to, you'll sign a waiver confirming that insurance was offered and declined.
